Description

In this role, you will impact the development of advanced software applications that enable building owners and occupants to optimize building performance, ensuring safer and more comfortable environments while driving sustainability initiatives.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Duluth, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play a pivotal role in the design, development, and testing of embedded software solutions, contributing directly to project success. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine software requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals. 
     


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in software development with a focus on building automation or related industries.
  • Strong expertise in software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures relevant to embedded and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, and experience with software development tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and cybersecurity principles applicable to building automation systems.
     

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience in developing scalable software solutions for IoT or building management systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data analytics tools used in building automation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning in software engineering.
