As a Voice Platform Software Engineer, you will help design, develop, and operate scalable voice infrastructure and real-time communication services used in high-volume customer interaction environments. You will work on technologies related to SIP signaling, media handling, WebRTC, distributed systems, and cloud-native platform development. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, problem-solving ability, and a passion for building resilient systems that operate at scale. You will collaborate closely with platform engineers, client application teams, infrastructure teams, and architects to deliver reliable and high-performing communication solutions.
Design and develop scalable voice and real-time communication platform components\\nBuild and maintain software services for SIP signaling, media control, routing, and session management\\nDevelop reliable and efficient backend services using C or C++\\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to voice quality, signaling, media flows, and distributed systems\\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end communication solutions\\nImprove platform scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational efficiency\\nParticipate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and production support activities\\nContribute to automation, monitoring, and deployment tooling for voice platform services\\n
3+ years of software development experience using C or C++\\nExperience developing backend or distributed systems software\\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, and load balancing\\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Experience with WebRTC, or VoIP technologies\\nFamiliarity with cloud-native architectures and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes\\nExperience with scalable distributed systems and event-driven architectures\\nExperience working with Kafka, Redis, or similar distributed infrastructure technologies\\nExperience with real-time communication platforms such as FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Asterisk, or similar technologies\\nExperience with SIP, RTP
